Elevations in the concentrations of circulating BCAAs are significantly associated with obesity in children and adolescents, and may independently predict future insulin resistance.

Sustained augmentation of IGF-1 with the test supplement may represent a novel method of improving clinical symptoms, including stress-related weight gain, in individuals with fibromyalgia and stress-associated low-normal hGH.

In summary, EAA ingestion appears to stimulate translation initiation more effectively than the other supplements, although the results also suggest that this effect is primarily attributable to the BCAA.
